Overview

3-7 Park Street sits in Croydon town centre, a tight urban plot between Thomas Turner Path and the Park Street frontage, with the bank on one side and Saffron House opposite. The existing building is demolished and replaced with a six-storey block, twenty-three apartments over a retail unit of 191 sqm at ground floor.

The mix is eight studios, a single one-bedroom, ten two-bedroom and four three-bedroom apartments. The building follows the line of Park Street with corner recessed balconies, a set-back top floor to the west end and a brick-faced elevation with a darker ground floor base.

Construction is a concrete frame with brick cladding, air source heat pumps and green roof areas.

What we did

QSetc prepared an Indicative Cost Estimate in March 2023, allowing for the constraints of a town centre site with no room for storage or a crane.
