Overview
The site is a field on Back Lane at Southrope, on the edge of Herriard, with the village playing field and the British Legion hall to the north. The scheme is a cluster of houses and bungalows set around a short lane and a turning head, in brick and clay tile with timber detail and flint panels.
The 2023 scheme was twelve homes, nine houses and three bungalows. The 2025 revision added a plot to make thirteen, ten houses and three bungalows. The tenure mix runs across affordable rent, shared ownership and private sale.
What we did
QSetc prepared an Indicative Cost Estimate for the twelve home scheme in March 2023, and a revised estimate in October 2025 when a thirteenth home was added. Both estimates supported the financial viability assessment for the scheme.
