Overview
This scheme is the redevelopment of the former Chaucer School on Spring Lane for 34 houses, arranged in two rows around an internal street with off-road parking and three shared carports at the entrance. The mix is six two bedroom and 28 three bedroom homes, at two and two and a half storeys, with the upper floor of the taller homes held within the roof space.
Gross internal floor area is 3,237 sqm. Air source heat pumps and MVHR are allowed to every plot, together with EV charging.
The site is the first phase of a wider council allocation for up to 70 homes.
