Overview
Maitland Lodge is a greenfield site on the south side of Billericay, bounded by farmland to the west and south and by existing housing along Southend Road. The scheme is forty-seven homes, a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced houses arranged around a central loop road, with a three-storey apartment block set close to the site entrance.
House types run from one bedroom through to four, in brick and render with pitched tiled roofs and chimneys. The apartment block holds the affordable units and is kept to three storeys.
A new access road is formed onto Southend Road, with drainage, an attenuation basin and structural landscaping to the site boundaries.
What we did
QSetc prepared an Indicative Cost Estimate in May 2024, updated in November 2024 for a revised accommodation mix, with the access road, drainage and external works measured and priced.
